Signs Your Car Needs an Alignment

  • Pulling or drifting to one side on a straight road
  • Steering wheel off-center when driving straight
  • Uneven or rapid tire wear (inside or outside edges)
  • Squealing tires, vibration, or wandering steering
  • You just bought new tires, hit a curb or pothole, or had suspension work

A misaligned car eats tires and fuel every mile. An alignment at $129 routinely saves a $600-$1,000 set of tires from early death – which is why tire manufacturers recommend checking alignment every 6,000-10,000 miles and any time new tires go on.

Why Ours Is Better Than a Quickie Alignment

We measure with the Hunter Hawkeye Eliteā„¢ – the same four-camera system top dealerships use, accurate to fractions of a degree, with a full reading in about 90 seconds. Every alignment includes a printed before/after spec sheet so you can see exactly what was off and exactly what we fixed, plus a steering-angle-sensor reset (Hunter CodeLinkĀ®) that many shops skip – leaving a dash light or a confused stability-control system behind. ASE-certified techs, transparent pricing, no upsell games. Expert care. Honest work.

Tesla, European & Specialty Alignments

Tesla owners: Teslas require a zero point calibration before the wheels can be aligned – it resets the steering and suspension sensors so the car actually drives straight after the adjustment. Many shops skip it or don’t have the tooling. We include it in both Tesla services: toe-and-go for $149 when only toe needs setting, or the full camber, caster and toe alignment for $200.

European vehicles: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, Land Rover, Volvo and other European makes run $179. Their alignment procedures, adjustment hardware and spec tolerances take more time than American and Asian models – we do it right rather than rushing it.

Lowered, track & custom setups: Slammed on coilovers? Chasing a track alignment with custom camber and toe targets? Our WinAlign Tunerā„¢ software aligns to your specs, not just factory numbers – $400-$500 depending on the setup.

Exotics, supercars & hypercars: Starting at $400, handled by our senior technician. The Hawkeye Elite’s QuickGripĀ® adaptors clamp the tire, not the wheel – zero metal-to-metal contact with your finish.

Drive a 2016-or-newer vehicle with lane-keep or automatic braking? Many manufacturers require the forward camera to be recalibrated after an alignment. We’re one of the only shops in the area that can do it in-house, same visit – see our ADAS calibration page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a wheel alignment take?

Usually about an hour, and most appointments are same-day. The Hawkeye Elite measures in about 90 seconds; the rest is careful adjustment and verification.

Do I need a 2-wheel or 4-wheel alignment?

Nearly all modern cars, SUVs, and trucks should get a 4-wheel alignment – the rear axle’s thrust angle affects how the front steers. We measure all four wheels on every job and show you the numbers.

Should I align after buying new tires?

Yes – it’s the cheapest insurance for your tire investment. Even slight misalignment shaves thousands of miles off new tires, and most tire-shop warranties expect documented alignment.

Do you align Teslas?

Yes, and we do it the way Tesla requires: a zero point calibration first, then the alignment. Toe-and-go is $149; a full camber, caster and toe alignment is $200 – the calibration is included in both. Skipping the zero point step is why some Teslas still pull or throw steering messages after an alignment elsewhere.

What if my truck is a 2500, 3500, dually, or lifted?

You’re in luck – we’re the rare shop that can take it. Our 18,000-lb long-deck Hunter rack handles heavy-duty pickups, duallys, and lifted trucks that other shops turn away. See our heavy-duty & dually alignment page.
