Lifetime Collision Repair Warranty
Every collision repair we do at Accelerate Auto Repair and Collision in Rowlett, TX carries a lifetime warranty, and it transfers with the vehicle when you sell it. Bodywork, parts and paint, covering both the parts we install and our own labor, for the life of the vehicle. Not a set number of years. Not a set number of miles. What we warranty
The collision work we perform: bodywork, parts, and paint. It covers both the parts we install and our labor. If our repair fails, that is our problem to put right, not yours.
How long it lasts
For the life of the vehicle. Not a set number of years or miles. Most shops that offer a written warranty put a clock on it. This one does not.
Does it transfer if I sell the car?
Yes. The warranty follows the vehicle, not the buyer. If you sell the car, the warranty goes with it. Whoever owns the vehicle needs the original invoice showing we performed the repair, so keep it with the vehicle records and hand it over with the keys.
This is the part worth understanding before you choose a shop. A transferable warranty is a real asset at resale, because the next owner inherits documented repair work that somebody stands behind.
Which jobs it applies to
Every collision repair we do. Insurance, self-pay, or through a direct-repair program. No separate tier, no separate cost, no upsell. The car that comes in on a State Farm claim gets the same warranty as the car whose owner is paying out of pocket.
What ends it
If a panel we repaired is damaged again and that later repair is performed anywhere other than our facility, this warranty no longer applies to that panel. The rest of the vehicle is unaffected.
Rust and corrosion are not covered
We would rather you read this here than find it out later.
Lifetime warranty strictly excludes any claims related to rust or corrosion. Coverage does not apply to surface rust, rust perforation, or corrosion resulting from pre-existing conditions, aging underlying metal, rock chips, road salt, or exposure to inclement weather and harsh environmental conditions.
Rust is a function of the metal and the environment, not of the repair, and no shop can honestly promise otherwise on a vehicle it did not build. It is also the practical reason to fix cracked paint sooner rather than later: bare metal under a chip is where corrosion starts.
How to make a claim
Please call (469) 501-5115 to discuss the claim. Please be prepared to text or email pictures of the area or areas in question so your claim can be processed as quickly as possible. We are at 3002 Century Dr in Rowlett, Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Mechanical repairs are a different warranty
The lifetime warranty above covers collision work. Mechanical repairs carry a separate 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty. They are different products and we do not blur them, because a driver who is told “lifetime” and later finds out their alternator was covered for two years has been misled.

Is the warranty in writing?
Yes. The terms on this page are the terms. Your invoice is the document that proves we did the work, which is why it matters that it stays with the vehicle.
Does the warranty cost extra?
No. There is no warranty tier and no add-on price. It is attached to the repair.
My insurance company is paying. Am I still covered?
Yes. Insurance, self-pay and direct-repair-program jobs all carry the same warranty.
I bought a car that was repaired here. Am I covered?
Yes, if you have the original invoice showing we performed the repair. The warranty follows the vehicle.
Someone else repaired a panel you fixed. What now?
Coverage ends on that panel only. Everything else we repaired is still covered.
