Why the first number is almost never the last one
A photo estimate only sees the outside. Once the panel is off, the mount behind it is either straight or it is not, and that changes the repair. We document what we find and submit it as a supplement, so you are not paying the difference and not waiting on a second approval that nobody filed.
How long it takes, including the part nobody warns you about
Parts arrive from the factory already broken often enough that we plan around it. Roughly one order in every couple of weeks has something dead on arrival in it. When that happens to your car we will tell you the same day and say what it costs you in time. A shop that never mentions this is not running fewer bad parts than we are.

Frame straightening, panel and parts replacement, paint, and paintless dent repair for damage that has not broken the finish. Alignment is done here rather than sublet, so the vehicle is not shuttled out mid-repair.
